This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students thrive on positive reinforcement and are most engaged when their hard work is recognized in fun and meaningful ways. I teach an energetic and diverse group of students who respond incredibly well to incentives that build excitement and a sense of celebration.
To boost participation, attendance, and overall school spirit, I am requesting items that will help my students create joyful reward experiences.
A popcorn machine and a shaved ice machine will be used during school-wide incentive days, classroom celebrations, and special events. These are not just snacks—they are moments of joy that our students look forward to, especially when tied to achieving academic or behavioral goals.
Additionally, I am requesting individual student prizes such as small toys, school supplies, and treats. These will be used for weekly recognition, classroom raffles, and achievement milestones. These tangible rewards help build intrinsic motivation by acknowledging effort and improvement in real-time.
My goal is to create a culture of encouragement where students feel seen, valued, and motivated to keep pushing forward. With your support, we can make our class a place where learning is celebrated—and a little extra fun too!
