Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

With this project, we will be able to set up a classroom economy system in which students earn "Class Cash" by completing classroom job duties, outstanding attendance, demonstrating growth on diagnostic assessments, and other demonstrated behaviors worth rewarding.

This project will allow my students the opportunity to learn about kindness and empathy as well as increase daily attendance, classwork completion, and encourage appropriate behaviors.

Students will be able to choose from the variety of prizes listed within this project such as stress balls, chips, crackers, fruit snacks, art supplies, and candy. Instead of focusing on the negative behaviors I am choosing to highlight the positive behaviors in which students are praised and awarded for following the directions and being model students.

My class store helps provide daily life lessons and skills for each student. Snacks, fidgets, and art supplies will be displayed for students to dispense snacks that they earn and purchase at our class store.
