My Project

Our school uses PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports). Every month, we use what we call SOAR tickets for the hallway. It stands for S: Safety, O: Own you actions, A: Actively Engage, R: Respect others. These tickets are a different color every month and are used to help with behavior in the hallway.

Positive Behavior has been shown to work in our school.

Every day, our students strive to follow the rules of the hallway. They try to be safe in the hallway by walking and staying quiet and wait in the hallway at the beginning of each day for the bell to ring.

At the end of each month, each teacher counts up the number of tickets earned and if they have enough tickets, that class will earn a prize. The number of tickets vary depending on the number of the days of school for the month. These items will help as prizes for some of the months!
