My Project

We all know staying on task can be hard sometimes! No one knows this better than the pre-teens in my self-contained CES class. I work with students with Intellectual Disabilities(ID) and Autism(ASD). Within the self-contained model, students spend the majority of the day inside the same class for their core subjects and are with the general population for their electives and lunch periods.

Sometimes it can be hard to stay motivated for the students, especially since they are in the same room almost all day.

At the beginning of the year, I talked with students to find out their favorite snacks, drinks, and other things that they would like to earn. With this project, you will be granting my students' wish list of snacks and giving them incentives to stay on task and get their work done. Students will be able to receive their preferred snacks or fidgets while they are on their break.
