Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our wonderful students make the best choices throughout the day and are eager to learn when they come to school. We grab every opportunity to praise good choices, hard work, small to big improvements, and so much more each and very day. Our students have multiple opportunities to earn classroom dollars and we teach them through life skills how to “save up” in their handmade wallets. When students save up enough classroom dollars, they can look at the prize list and cash in for something! It could be lunch with the teacher, switch seats with a friend, and so much more! We also need some more prizes for our amazing students to choose from.

We teach our students that we have to make good choices and put in effort every day.

We hope that they learn that it takes hard work and time to earn something they want. When we repeat these actions, we they become a habit. We hope you can help us get some prizes. We will put them in clear storage bins so when the students cash in, they can see what their options are!
