My Students

Pre-K is an exhilarating and fun age for students. My students are learning about letter-sound relationships, numbers, shapes, colors, and how to hold a pencil. They are always willing to learn and ask many questions. They love using hands-on learning, where they can make a connection in their growing minds.

I love going to school each day to watch their resilient minds grow.

In my classroom, we work together and cheer each other along. They are constantly teaching me with how fast they learn, and the types of relationships they build with each other.

My Project

I would love to provide my students with new classroom furniture. The tables and chairs will bring a fresh modern look to our small Pre-K classroom. Working in a Title I school has taught me that you are not always going to have new sparkly furniture. I have always used mismatched tables and chairs throughout my teaching career. There is nothing wrong with using the resources available to you; however, sometimes it is just time to replace older things. Our tables and chairs that we have, has served their purpose. They have seen many students come and go, and now I believe it is time that they retire.

I want to be able to provide my students with the best materials and resources I can give them.

I believe the new furniture will help bring an even more positive learning aspect into my classroom. It will also provide a clean and organized look.
