My Project

Fourth grade is such an incredible year of growth for students.

I teach a wonderful group of fourth graders who are curious about the world around them.

They collaborate on projects, enjoy STEAM challenges, and love to discover the why behind questions posed in class.

I have many students in my class who celebrate Lunar New Year and I would like to read In The Year of the Boar and Jackie Robinson as a read aloud. This is a touching story about Shirley Temple Wong who arrives in New York in 1947, the year of the Brooklyn Dodgers. Though this story, Shirley finds friendship and how to make a new place a home. I would also like to get volleyballs and playground balls to use at recess.
