Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Keeping up with in-class writing and notetaking can be tough, especially when you have trouble keeping pace because of a language acquisition or special education challenges. This can also make my special needs students, who have motor skills disabilities, feel uncapable in participating in class. Falling behind can make some feel like they are not as good as their fellow peers, which can affect their social emotional wellbeing. I am requesting ink so that I can print out class notes for my students who struggle with the pace of note taking. I believe this will give them positive social emotional confidence so they can be prepared in class. This will give them the ability to focus on the task at hand, rather than frantically trying to keep pace. The printer ink can help me print notes which will bring a more relaxed and calm feeling for them when they are working in my Science and Social Studies classes.
