Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

While science fairs are an extensive process, my students will have the opportunity to help develop various skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, time management, and communication by applying the principles of the scientific method. My students enjoy going on many adventures in my science class. Having my students participate in a science fair is a great way for my students continue to explore their world and how things work.

Having the science boards will allow my students to participate in the school wide Science Fair Showcase and share their inquiries and outcomes to the school community.

The bar magnets will allow my students to have the opportunity to explore using their own materials and supplies as they communicate their findings in their center groups.

Today, with the growing popularity of STEM education (focusing on the study of science, technology, engineering and math) in our schools and the potential for a dramatic increase in STEM-related jobs in the future, science fairs are more popular than ever.

Kids who participate in science fairs will learn skills that can be used for problem solving and critical thinking throughout their lifetime.
