My Project

This year has been the year of art...we are truly in our art era here in preschool! My students love having new materials and getting to experiment. I would love to give our art center a makeover and introduce some new items, as well as replenish some of our well loved materials (such as glue, scissors, etc).

My classroom focuses on process over product.

You may not see art projects that all look the same. We try to really focus on letting children experiment and use their imagination in order to create a finished product. Often times I will give them materials and tell them what to make, or I will hang up a finished product and let them decide how to create it. The materials I am requesting will help encourage more of this creativity in our classroom. I am also requesting items for play-doh exploration and clay creations. The children love doing 3D art!
