Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In order to start the school year off on the right foot, my classroom needs to be stocked with the right supplies including tissues, pencils, highlighters, and markers. In my U.S. History class, we use interactive notebooks that the students create and group activities. This method is effective by engaging the students and holding them responsible for their learning. Interactive notebooks are also proven to help student learning English as a second language.

Interactive notebooks are great visual tools for learning and studying.

However, they require a lot of consumable supplies such as glue, color pencils, and highlighters. With over 130 students that come through my classroom each day, these supplies don't last very long. The laminator is to help with groups activities and helps reduce paper waste. With your help, we can start the year off right with the supplies we need.
