Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As an educator committed to fostering an engaging and hands-on learning environment, I am seeking your support to provide my students with essential tools that will enhance their learning experiences: EXPO markers and glue sticks.

EXPO markers will enable my students to actively participate in lessons, write and draw on whiteboards during group activities, and complete interactive exercises.

The ability to write and easily erase their work fosters an environment of trial and error, where they can feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them. This promotes both critical thinking and problem-solving skills, which are essential for their academic growth.

Glue sticks will provide my students with the tools they need for hands-on, creative projects. From crafting visual representations of their learning to assembling projects for science, history, and art, these supplies will help students put their ideas into action. Hands-on projects have been shown to improve engagement, increase retention of knowledge, and allow students to demonstrate their understanding in unique ways.

My goal for this project is to provide my students with the materials they need to engage in interactive, creative, and collaborative learning experiences.

My students are curious, enthusiastic, and eager to explore the world around them. Many of them come from diverse backgrounds and face unique challenges in their daily lives. Despite these challenges, they show incredible resilience and a strong desire to learn. They thrive when given the opportunity to express themselves, work together, and create something they can be proud of. By providing them with the tools they need to succeed, I believe we can continue to nurture their potential and help them reach their full academic and personal growth.
