Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are creative, artistic, energetic students from different backgrounds, ethnicities, and socioeconomic status. They are between the ages of 6 and 8. Many times 75% to 85% of my students are on free or reduced-price lunch.

My classroom has a mixture of students from ESE to Gifted to ESOL.

My English as a Second Language Learners are between Levels 1-4, and my many of my ESE students have a variety of learning accommodations and although sometimes struggle, they never give up and every one of them is full of potential and eager to learn! It's my job to ensure that they have all the tools they need to succeed!

My Project

Please help me get all of my students started this school year by donating for our basic school supplies. Starting the school of right can make such a difference in the excitement the students feel when the come to school that first day. I would like to have their desks reading to go! Ready to Learn!

Imagine the look on their faces when they walk in that first day and they have pencils, crayons, glue, folders waiting for them on their desks!

All the materials they need to start learning and get to work from day one. What a difference it would make! These last two years have been difficult and challenging for everyone and this year will be too. I would like to be ready to start this exciting new year! Ready to learning! Ready for First grade!
