My Project

The products I have selected will provide my K-6th students the opportunity to learn a new and exciting sport. Not going to lie, I thought pickleball was a sport you picked up when you retired. I learned how to play it during professional development training and I have since learned that it is a sport for all ages.

I have the best job in my school, kids have the opportunity to learn not only a new sport but how to work as a team, the importance of communication, acquire leadership skills, and of course, have fun!

I was able to purchase 6 badminton nets last year through DonorsChoose.org. Those same nets work for pickleball so I'm super excited to add a new sport to our curriculum this year!
