Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are amazing! Each student have their own personalized ties and characteristics. I have a total of 52 students. Some have autism while others are emotionally disturbed. My students are verbally limited but with the right materials and motivation, I believe my students social and vocabulary will expand.

I would like for my students to have the chance and improve their communication and language skills by having the correct materials that would help them and motivate them.

Working hard, participating in the lesson activities, asking questions and making the lesson fun is what makes my students special.

My students are hard working students who are motivated to learn and I feel lucky to have them in my sessions. I love coming in to work everyday because they make my day.

My Project

These materials I can use to enhance and improve my students with autism vocabulary. I can use these materials and practice with them and improve their everyday vocabulary skills. These materials are engaging and will be a great motivation to continue expanding their lexicon.

By donating these materials, my wonderful students with autism and emotionally disturbed will have a chance to learn more advanced words and will get to use these words to communicate.

I will include these materials in my lesson plan to make sure my students get the best out of these activities. Using the different materials will allow my students to have fun and expand their social skills.
