I would like to include more seating options for my Title 1 high school algebra students to help improve focus. These seating options include wobble stools and yoga balls that my students with focus issues would be ale to utilize during lessons.
Flexible seating has been shown to improve focus in students with ADD, ADHD, or any other focus issues.
This is especially important in my STEM classroom where students are trying to process a lot of information quickly. This can be a challenge for many students and having various seating options would help me address engagement issues with those students.
