My Project

My students this year are lacking in communication skills. I believe covid and our access to technology has had a great impact on their ability to communicate with peers and adults.

I have noticed they struggle with things such as using complete sentences, communicating their thoughts/ideas, eye contact, and even just holding a conversation.

My thought and hope is that these board games will help make these struggle areas easier. These games are classics and would encourage communication amongst players. Plus like I said they are classics. I want the younger generation to experience these great games. So often when I ask them what games they play they are all in digital form... video games! So many skills can be strengthened while playing and having fun!

The gloves will be used for any students that may need as we approach the winter months. The chocolate and fidgets will be used as incentives in the class. Thank you for considering this generous donation that will encourage play and conversation amongst my students and their classmates/families.
