Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At our High School, we are working hard to improve student attendance and reduce chronic absenteeism, an issue that significantly impacts academic success, engagement, and long-term outcomes for our students. When students miss school, they miss critical learning opportunities, connections with peers, and support from caring adults on campus.

Through this project, we aim to create a Positive Attendance Incentive Program that celebrates and rewards students for consistent attendance and growth in attendance habits.

Your generous donation will help us provide meaningful, student-centered rewards—such as snacks, that motivate students and reinforce the importance of showing up each day.

These small incentives can make a big difference. For many students, knowing their efforts are noticed and valued can be the extra encouragement they need to stay on track. With your support, we can build a school culture where students feel excited, supported, and empowered to be present and engaged every day.
