This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are motivated, ambitious scholars who take college classes while still attending high school as a part of the regular coursework. Students at my school achieve great success despite the obstacles some face.

With the support of donors like you, the limited income of their households has less of an impact on their future.

My goal is to ensure that no student misses an opportunity due to lack of resources. My school is in a busy inner city neighborhood of New York City where it is easy to not treat school as a priority in favor of less honorable activities. My students, however, have chosen to set goals and use education as the vessel to accomplish them!

My Project

We have many printers around the school, BUT NO INK. I am hoping to provide ink for my printer so that when the printers in the school are unavailable, students and teachers will still be able to print their work without a problem. These materials would make a huge difference because it would eliminate a significant obstacle for many students.

Students should always have what they need in order to be successful and this project will help to ensure that happens.

Ink for the printer seems like such a small thing, but sometimes, small things can make a huge difference.
