My Project

Immersive technology will allow our students to experience the future of gardening, on the smaller scale and farming, on the larger scale. This will be achieved through the use of plant identification, design, nutritional, construction, and chemistry applications that can be downloaded onto the iPad.

We will utilize this information to study the life cycle of plants, design gardens that will fit our community, construct lasting gardens, and choose plants that will serve our nutritional needs to the fullest.

My students reside in and I teach in the most diverse township in the state of Indiana. Our school alone houses students from approximately ten different countries speaking over seventeen different languages. By providing this technology to my students and I, we will be able to bridge educational gaps and fortify our future. Thank you for your consideration.
