My Project

First graders are curious and eager learners who really want to learn about the world around them! In first grade, we learn about space, the seven continents, landmarks, and our own community. We talk about ways that we can make our community better. We also learn about maps and making maps. Having Ozobots in our classroom would allow us to explore these topics using technology. Ozobots are a tech tool that makes it possible for children to explore coding. The goal of this project would be to allow the students to design a map for the robots to follow to deliver items around their own community. This would be an innovative, hands-on learning experience that develops the 21st-century skills that are crucial to student success.
