Imagine, Design, and Build Through 3d Printing

Help me give my students spools of polyester filament material needed to create 3-Dimensional objects through our 3D printers.

My Project

Students will use 3D printers to "print out" projects that they have created on the computer. One of the lessons students will do is to design a pencil holder using the engineering design process. Students will also apply what they learned in math on volume. After students have created their pencil holders on the computer, they will be able to print their projects through the 3D printers using a polyester filament material. Students will be able to personalize their pencil holders by adding their names, favorite hobbies, or objects that identify them. Another project will be to design and create personal Christmas ornaments! These are great projects because students are allowed to share their voice and is adaptable at all skill levels!
