My Project

I love my students because although they have many challenges in and outside of school they push themselves every day. When my students get these materials it will help them to achieve their goals. This will not only excite them but will encourage them to do more. They will see that others care enough to donate to help them. As a teacher, this reminds me that others are also vested in my students' achievement. It also reminds me that it takes a village to help my students achieve their goals.

My goal for my students is for them to become fluent readers.

The vocabulary cards-I see this become a morning routine to increase their vocabulary and the reading comprehension daily practice journal will not only improve their writing skills but, it will increase fluency, vocabulary and and other reading comprehension skills. This daily journal activity will also build self esteem and self confidence. Daily journaling will also heighten academic performance, and improve my students critical thinking. The more progress they make it will encourage them to set higher reading goals for themselves. These materials will definably brighten my students mindset.

The social and emotional prompts cards will will help my students will some behavior problems - they will learn how to self regulate and manage other behavior issues.

My students are hard workers and to help them do better; they need the correct tools and a fair chance for success.

These reading materials will only enhance my students curiosity, and eagerness to learn but it will push my students to do more to achieve their reading goals.
