Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I just started kindergarten this year, and I have noticed that many of my students do not know how to play with toys. They are used to electronics. I have selected costumes for the students. I have a play kitchen that my students love using, this is something that one of my coworkers is letting me borrow. With the kitchen she has a few costumes like aprons and such. I noticed that some of these costumes are starting to fall apart.

I also included a doll house.

I have nothing like this in my classroom and I know that my students will enjoy playing pretend and using their imaginations. I put some extra dolls in so that all students feel represented. I also included some art supplies that we need to create different projects.
