My Project

I teach 60 hard working, silly, and amazing 2nd grade students in a small East Texas town. My students love to work with hands-on activities, make creative art projects and play games. I strive to make my classroom a fun, safe, and exciting learning environment.

Every year my students come to school unprepared to learn.

They do not have the basic needs; for example headphones, bags, pencils or paper. We can not expect students to be successful in the classroom if they are not given the basic needs that they need to do their work.

For their success - We are in this together!

As we all know this school year will look so different for so many teachers and students in the classroom. Students will not be able to share with their friends who do not have their own supplies. Making sure that each and every one of my students has the supplies they need will take some of the stress off of the students. They will be able to focus more on their academic success and less on their need to find the materials to do the job. Being able to help my students succeed and grow is very important to me in the classroom.
