My Project

My students' elementary school split this year and have just entered a brand new school, thus we do not have a wellness center set up yet. The students need an environment to help them regulate emotions so they can continue learning. In my experience, flexible seating, calming lights and educational games have been useful tools to help students get back to academics after a distressing moment. If they are not able to regulate in their classroom, having a safe and welcoming environment to center themselves is important so they can get the most from learning.
