My Project

I a writing to ask for your help as I am working to support my students’mental and emotional health in addition to the academic curriculum we work on each day. To incorporate Social and Emotional Learning in the classroom I encourage students to write mantras, poems and affirmations to support each other's emotional growth. I find that this is extremely helpful for my LGBTQ+ students and those that are neurodiverget.

Creating this positive and accepting environment makes it easier for student to hone those 21st centry skills needed for success such as critical thinking and effective communication.

I am seeking help to provide a space where students can create, keep and share their amazing creations usning craft supplies, motivational stickers and vibrant their imaginations. Sensory manipulatives also go a long way in helping students with focus. A colored printer will be very helpful in creating their poetry cards and Mantra Posters which they love to post around the classroom and share with friends and family. I would greatly appreciate your help with this project. Thank you so much for you kind consideration.
