Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In this technology-filled world typing things online and sharing them via the internet has started to become the norm, but for the little ones they need to see their published work physically in their hands for it to be "real."

A color printer and laminator for our classroom will help students see their work come to life just like the real authors whose books we read in class.

The best part of writing is when you see your hard work published and are able to share it with the world. Having a color printer in class will allow us to easily do this. Students would be able to print out their books and laminate the covers just like they see books in the library or bookstore. Having their work printed will help put that extra motivation in them to do their best work, as they know others will soon be ready their stories, reports, opinions etc. It is will also give them a sense of pride in their writing when they are able to hold it in their hand and add it to our class library for other to read. Any support with this would be greatly appreciated.
