Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

There are not enough adjectives to describe what makes my students so special! I teach a community of strong, bilingual, and culturally diverse students that are eager to learn and expand their horizons. My students come from all over Latin America and try their best to take advantage of all the opportunities this wonderful country has to offer.

We are part of the community affected by Hurricane Harvey in Houston, Texas.

After everything they've been through my students's determination and excitement to learn and become better people makes me so proud.

My Project

Access to technology is a luxury that most of my students can't afford. The community I have the honor to serve has bigger and more difficult challenges to overcome, especially after Hurricane Harvey. I believe exposing students to the latest technological resources will keep them engaged and interested in their own learning.

I want my students to take advantage of all the support and help technology provides to make their learning a more exciting experience, motivating them to always do better.

My students and I continuously work hard to achieve success and the goal is to pull themselves out of the economically disadvantage status through education.

These MacBooks will provide access to a long list of resources online, that will help improve my students' mathematical reasoning and problem solving skills.
