My Project

My students' love art. They also love their names! In this project my students' will make illuminated letters that stand for their names.

Students' sketching at it's best!

My students' will create illuminated letters by focusing on the capital letter their name begins with. Then, they will create designs around the letter. This will turn their initial into visual art.

After that, my students' will go through the process of illuminating their initial. This project uses many types of art. My students' will draw, color, paint, and perfect their initial.
