Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Every morning, students walk into our downtown Brooklyn school ready to learn. We're a school that's growing in diversity while welcoming more students of different ethnicities, academic backgrounds, and levels.

Our classes are full of discussions, math, science, technology, and more!

This past school year (and a half) has been an incredibly wild one and we're looking towards a more "normal" 2021 - 2022 school year ahead.

My Project

Having a working classroom printer (and ink!) will help ensure that all of our students get great copies of their classwork, homework, and more.

Some students have different needs; some may need larger text, chunked paragraphs, etc, which means we'll need a variety of copies of our work for our kiddos!

Teachers need to be prepared but sometimes mistakes happen. We might've miscounted our copies or we need to print an EXTRA copy or perhaps a student lost their copy... The classroom printer will be a daily use machine that'll help support us two ELA teachers this upcoming school year!
