My Students

We are a small, Title I school that provides a safe and nurturing environment for all our students. We utilize the Leader In Me Program where students learn to be responsible for their own actions and their own learning. They use the 7 Habits to strengthen their intrapersonal and interpersonal skills, problem-solving skills, and their ability to work as a team.

My students are active, enthusiastic, and creative learners.

They enjoy hands-on activities and working in groups. The 7 Habits has really taught my students how to synergize with one another. I love the growth they are exhibiting and the leaders that they are becoming.

My Project

My students love to use iPads and computers whenever possible. So far, we only have four desktop computers in the classroom. My students need iPads to build their technological skills, create presentations, and access online curriculum.

My goal is for every student to have an iPad to use in the classroom.

Through the use of this iPad, students will grow academically. Students will be able to do online research and create academic presentations and videos. They will also use the iPad for accessing ST Math and Raz Kids. These two apps can be downloaded onto the iPad and help them improve their math and reading skills.
