My Project

Dear Donors,

We are thrilled to present our project proposal, "Igniting Young Minds: Empowering Preschoolers through Cooking Adventures!" At PS 92, we firmly believe that cooking is an essential life skill that should be nurtured from an early age.

We are seeking your support to provide our preschoolers with essential appliances like a convection oven and mixer, which will enable them to explore the world of cooking in a safe and engaging environment. Why Cooking in Class Matters: Cooking offers a multitude of benefits for preschoolers, fostering their holistic development and nurturing essential skills that will serve them throughout their lives. Measuring ingredients, stirring, and pouring are all activities that promote the development of fine motor skills. By using a mixer, our preschoolers can further refine their hand-eye coordination and dexterity, strengthening their fingers and preparing them for future writing tasks. This creative outlet nurtures their problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities. The Need for Appliances: To fully realize the potential of cooking in our preschool classrooms, we require essential appliances like a convection oven and mixer. These appliances will enable us to create a safe and conducive environment for our students to explore the world of cooking.
