My Project

My 4th-grade students are bright, curious, and full of potential. They approach math and science with creativity and excitement, eager to explore new concepts and solve real-world problems. However, to maximize their learning experiences, they need the right tools. The resources I’m requesting—scissors, pencil sharpener, pencil holders, microphone, and megaphone—are essential for creating an organized and engaging classroom environment where all students can thrive.

The microphone and megaphone will amplify student voices during group discussions, science experiments, and math presentations.

This will help students build confidence, practice public speaking skills, and share their ideas clearly. The scissors will be used for hands-on STEM projects, allowing students to create models, cut out manipulatives, and engage in interactive learning activities. The pencil holders will keep their supplies organized, promoting responsibility and reducing distractions during work time. Additionally, the sharpener will ensure students have the tools they need to stay focused and productive throughout the day.

My goal for this project is to foster a collaborative and dynamic learning environment where students feel empowered to express themselves and engage actively in their education. By providing these resources, students will have the tools necessary to collaborate effectively, stay organized, and participate confidently.

What makes my students special is their determination and creativity. Despite facing challenges, they remain eager to learn and grow. With these resources, they will have the support they need to strengthen their skills, build confidence, and develop a lifelong love for math and science.
