Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I absolutely love my students' curiosity and enthusiasm for learning! Each day, they come to class with bright eyes, ready to explore new ideas and concepts. They have a natural drive to understand the world around them, and that's why I'm excited to bring Scholastic News and Science Spin into our classroom.

The resources I’m requesting will significantly enhance my students' learning experience.

Scholastic News offers engaging articles on current events that relate to their lives, helping them become informed and active participants in our society. This resource will not only improve their reading comprehension but also spark meaningful discussions about the world. Science Spin will ignite their passion for science through hands-on activities and fascinating discoveries, making complex concepts more accessible and enjoyable. By connecting classroom learning to real-world topics, these resources will foster critical thinking and a deeper understanding of both social studies and science.

My goal for this project is to create an interactive and stimulating learning environment where my students feel empowered to ask questions and seek answers. I want them to develop a love for reading and exploration that lasts a lifetime.

What makes my students special is their diverse backgrounds and unique perspectives. They bring a wealth of experiences into our classroom, enriching our discussions and collaborations. Their resilience and determination to succeed inspire me every day, and I want to provide them with the tools they need to thrive academically and personally.

With your support, we can elevate their learning and help them become the informed leaders of tomorrow. Thank you for considering our project!
