My Project

Young children are little scientists, always asking questions and experimenting with their surroundings. To support their exploration and bring science to life, I am requesting essential tools and materials for our classroom. These resources will allow us to conduct simple, yet captivating experiments that will lay a foundation for future scientific learning.

As Ms Frizzle from the Magic School Bus says, "Take chances, make mistakes, and get messy," and these materials will enable my students to do just that by exploring science through hands-on, enriching experiments.

Magnifying glasses will enhance observation skills, thermometers will teach about temperature by comparing substances like water and ice, and baking soda and vinegar will demonstrate exciting chemical reactions. Cornstarch will help illustrate non-Newtonian fluids, Wikki Sticks will aid in building structures and modeling scientific concepts, hydroponic sand will explore sand properties and plant growth without soil, and sponges and jars will be used for water absorption experiments.

My goals are to foster exploration with tools that encourage curiosity, develop understanding through engaging experiments, enhance skills in observation and critical thinking, and inspire a love for science by creating an exciting classroom environment.
