This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My student's come to Physical Education excited and ready to learn even in the most uncertain of times.

Even though my student's come from various cultures, areas, and income levels we form a community of engaged learners.

They are SUPERSTARS!

The neighborhood was hit hard over the summer with high numbers of COVID-19 and again has rising numbers. School is a place where I hope they can have some sort of normalcy.

My Project

Teaching Physical Education outside in the schoolyard in an industrial area with A LOT of heavy traffic in the area makes it very difficult for the students to hear me or the music. The schoolyard doesn't have any power source so

With this powerful, portable, wireless speaker the students will be able to remain socially distanced while learning and having fun in Physical Education.

The ability to amplify my voice and instructions will help me instruct while moving around reaching each student as they are participating in P.E. in a socially distant and safe manner.
