This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school's fully student led and student choreographed Dance Crew is an important part of the school's culture. Their performances throughout the year, both at school and at sporting events, are highly anticipated. This group of committed students have been successful for several years in running their practices without some of the basic materials needed for a dance program! They practice for several hours after school each week, bring their own personal speakers to school for practice, and even buy their own outfits for performances.

The Dance Crew needs a portable speaker for their weekly dance practices.

Although some members have been generous enough to bring their personal speakers from home, there have been days when the group may have to conduct practice with no music! The Dance Crew needs their own speaker that can remain at the school site and is designated for their practices.

It takes a lot of dedication, time, and commitment to put together performances for schoolwide events and talent showcases. The Dance Crew members are passionate, creative, dedicated, and driven to succeed. Let's support them in their creative and artistic endeavors as they strive to succeed in this rigorous academic school.
