My Students

I had the privilege to be a teacher at my school since 2000. Some of my former students are now bringing their own children to my music class!

As a music teacher, I teach around 700 students every week from kindergarten to 5th grade.

Despite the challenges we are all facing I am inspired by my student's eagerness to do their best.

However, with my limited musical instruments, I am struggling to do my best. Thus, with your help, I hope that I will be able to purchase 10 ukuleles which will greatly impact my students' achievements.

As my students are exposed to quality lessons, songs, skils, and concepts they will also make great strides in other subject areas such as reading, science, and math. Thank you so much for your generosity!

My Project

I have 6 ukuleles in my classroom and it is a challenge to teach 20 students with only 6 instruments (especially now when students need to use social distances)

My students love to play the ukulele and with your help, their dream will come true!

I plan to use these instruments daily with my 3rd-grade students. With your support, I will be able to deliver music instructions not only through songs but though the use of musical instruments.

I plan to teach them not only how to play the instruments, but how to read music notes and how to compose their own songs. In a relatively short time, my students will be able to perform for our school events and for other events in our community as well.
