My students need 3 iPads to bring our arts infused lessons to the next level! Composing music to learn Science and recording monologues to learn history, we will do it all!

Arts allow every child to demonstrate their genius. This project is to help provide more tools to show just that!
We LOVE the arts in my classroom just as much as we love learning history and science!
There is never a dull moment and the energy and passion to learn fill each day. As the only Science and Social Studies teacher for 3rd grade, I see each 3rd grader every single day.
My students come from all over Berkeley County and from a wide variety of backgrounds because we are a magnet school. As an arts infused school, we constantly integrate and infuse the arts into lessons to make our school fully engaged and high performing in not only the arts, but in academics as well.
Students love to come to school each day and are eager to embrace the newest and latest strategies I have to offer! They would take the donations and create bigger and better things than I could ever imagine! I can't wait to see what they create with these tools!
My Project
The 3 iPads will be used by all of the 3rd graders of the school as a way to integrate the arts into their Science, Social Studies, and Writing lessons each day. Just imagine these 8 year olds composing music to go with the song they created about the first settlers. Sharing recorded performances as we perform monologues as if they are the atoms that make up matter. Or even studying and designing visual art to help their writings come to life! The possibilities are endless with these fantastic tools!
Donations to help us with this project will allow students to demonstrate their knowledge in the way they learn best.
It will help me bring students to a higher level of learning, increase the ownership of their learning, build their confidence, and prepare them for the high paced technological world. This is the type of learning they will remember for a lifetime!
