Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students are curious and motivated learners. Since the Fall, they have been building their communication skills to advocate for their needs. They have also been exploring new healthy foods to build their tolerance of different textures. A few of our wonderful students are in the process of toilet training and are working on learning to initiate/ask for the bathroom!

We have been using a fridge to store the foods for food exploration and store beverages to give our students to assist in toilet training.

Unfortunately, our fridge broke and we no longer have one to refrigerate the food/drinks. This has paused our food exploration as we don't have any storage. Our students are also drinking less because the beverages are warm with no place to store.

We would be very grateful if you could contribute to get our students a working fridge again!
