This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Having an Ice Cream maker in a culinary class is not only beneficial but essential for students to fully explore the art of frozen desserts. This versatile equipment allows for hands-on learning in creating a wide variety of ice cream flavors and textures thereby enhancing students understanding of the science behind emulsification and freezing processes. By making ice cream from scratch students can experiment with different ingredients, flavors, and techniques, fostering their creativity and culinary skills. Furthermore, having an ice cream maker in class provides a valuable opportunity for students to learn about proper equipment handling and maintenance, ensuring they develop essential culinary competency for future professional endeavors in the industry. And who doesn't enjoy ice cream?
