My Students

Imagine it's your first day of school. You had a great day and you are ready to go back. We never had our second day of school. Our second day of school was when "The Great Flood of 2016" hit. Our school had over a foot and half of water.

With this DonorsChoose.org project, we are trying to rebuild our classroom.

Any donations that are given, will go directly to rebuilding what we once had.

While our school is being rebuilt, we will be housed in the gyms of different schools from our district.

My Project

We need technology in our classroom. The students know how to use technology and want to have it at their fingertips. We have a large lack of technology in our temporary classroom and this is a great way to re-introduce it.

We are able to use the iPads for everything from Accelerated Reader tests to research projects.

The kids love to get a topic and find as much information as they can. The iPads are the most convenient way to do that. They also love to use them for centers. There are so many apps that can help with the skills we are learning.
