My Project

My class LOVES to read! I teach in a Title I school and there are no funds left over for books. I love to level my students, 6 in a group, and read a chapter book and discuss and learn together. It's very important that each child have their own copy of the novel. I believe it gives them pride and confidence that I give them the power of borrowing a "special" book.

Of course I have students that have different reading abilities.

I have first grade through sixth grade abilities, so my range of books is different. These novels also have many different interests.

I would love for my students to have the opportunity to explore the world around them through books!
