Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

For many of my students with Autism, or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), refers to a broad range of conditions characterized by challenges with social skills, repetitive behaviors, and speech and nonverbal communication. The work is challenging and difficult to understand. Colorful visual aids make learning fun and provide something a little different. When I present my students with visual aids for learning in color gives a deeper context and meaning to the lesson. In addition, students learning will be stimulated and connect the learning to help them make sense of what they are learning without complication.

A color printer with ink for my students will provide my students with visual aids that make learning dynamic and fun; as well as take the spotlight off the challenge of learning with autism.
