Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My class consists of 18 Kindergarten students. With the current Pandemic situation caused by Covid-19, our school was pushed into distance teaching with very little preparation to continue our school year remotely from our homes.

Despite all the hardships many of their families are facing, my students participate in our daily Zoom sessions with happy and eager faces ready for learning.

Even though we have not been physically together in our classroom, these daily meetings have given them the reassurance that their teacher will continue to be here for them.

My Project

Please help me enhance our new virtual classroom by supporting our project with this document camera and iPad. This document camera and iPad will give students a clearer view and make them feel like they are back in our classroom.

With the sudden switch to remote learning, my students need better access to the instructional materials I am presenting remotely.

Sharing my screen with my students during our sessions has not been an easy task. This document camera can help in sharing and projecting parts of our lessons in a way that I can have greater control over. This will also allow my students to view lessons as I model them for them.
