Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Currently some of my students live in an area where the wifi isnt strong and their parents are essential workers. They also don't have alot of supplies to continue learning and reading in the summer since they live in low income circumstances.

My Project

This project will give my students a listening center! It will help them learn to love reading. They will listen to the book and it will show them what good reading sounds like. I will read it to them and then they can feel a sense of independence when they enter their reading centers and read along with the CD. During this difficult time they need centers that will keep them excited and get their minds off of the difficult situation we are all currently in. Please help my student grow as readers.
