My Students

My students are all from the inner city. We are a Title I school that only serves girls. We are the first all-female school in our public school system. My girls are hard-working, dedicated and determine young ladies that always rises above all the naysayers. Our school provides a rigorous education that is needed in today's society. We are an academically focused school that will show everyone that we have beauty and brains.

She believed she could, so she did!

My Project

My students love to read and with each girl having her own novel she will be able to take home the book and read. Reading is a way to escape the chaos and go live inside their imagination and go wild.

These books will allow the girls to start their own personal library.

No one should ever be denied access to having their own personal library. Each girl having her own novel is something she will be able to keep with her for a lifetime.

By donating to our project, you will help to improve and increase student attention and focus and increase their academic achievement.
