Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are a wonderful bunch that are representative of the local community. The local community is a hardworking community, representing several different backgrounds in both ethnicities and socioeconomic levels. My students are resilient and special! They are curious, enthusiastic, and eager to learn.

My Project

My goal is to build an inclusive library and an abundance of resources for students to be represented, challenged, and balanced. I want students to be able to see themselves in books or projects that we do. Several of these books will also be used as jump points for Social Emotional Learning every morning.

Social Emotional Learning and representation is imperative after the year we have all had.

In addition to the books, a printer is extremely necessary in any classroom. Teachers Pay Teachers has an abundance of great resources that will be helpful in my classroom.
