This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I want all my third graders to enter fourth grade being able to multiply and divide. All it takes is practice! I want them to enjoy learning their facts.

My students live in a high needs area in Nevada.

They are energetic and love to learn. Most of the practice they do to learn their facts is done at school. I want them to enjoy their practice time because I want them to practice as much as possible. Knowing multiplication facts is crucial to their success in fourth grade.

My Project

I am requesting a set of Math Bingo games. Students have so much fun when it comes to Bingo! These games will give my students the necessary practice in addition, multiplication, division, and subtraction. I can use these games whole group. Once students are familiar with the games they can also play in small groups. I am also requesting a multiplication and division game. This game has lights and sounds and will encourage some healthy competition. The large base ten stamps will allow students to show base ten representations of numbers without having to struggle drawing them!

This will give my students an extra push when it come to being prepared for fourth grade. Any fourth grade teacher will tell you that knowing how to multiply is very important in the fourth grade curriculum.
